Costume my characters will be wearing designer/hood clothing to show money and success along with others wearing sports clothing. the clothing displays how each life style gives you different luxuries and ways of life. the other group will be dressed in urban but formal clothes to show the difference in personality and life choices. also, basketball clothing to show their pride for the sport and success they want to achieve.  Lighting i will have mainly more night based scenes as that's when things become more dramatic and life styles can be shown from different views. i will have street lights, natural light and shadows to display different emotions and effects to the audience as it shows low-key lighting and high key for when things are good or bad. for example, high key lighting for scenes which are good and positive.i'd use low-key lighting for negative scenes e.g. streets or illegal things. I’m planning to make a short trailer for my production and I will try to show how an average group of friends from an urban environment who’s trying to make it into a sports career basketball and the different routes they have and the impact of each decision. Although, they're surrounded by bad people who do things which are illegal, some of them are trying to live a good life and avoid all problems of such whereas, the others have given up. this will be shown by their attitudes and way of speaking which will be through diegetic sound and mise en scene which will show how successful their lifestyle of criminal activities have done e.g. by designer clothing, money, drugs. Although, their background/environment stops them from searching for their success and has determined to prove everyone wrong and make it out of the "hood".
