2) How do you know? What are the key conventions that allowed you to identify the text? the way i can identify this is by the branding at the top left as its big and red which can be easily identified.

3) In your opinion, who is the target audience for this media text?in my opinion i think this newspaper is targeted at people who are working class and above as in middle of the page its written boldly, it talks about politics but in a joke way. this would attract them to read it as it could give a further . further more, it also has gossip which indicates its a funny but serious and a gossip type newspaper. this focuses on popular stories which are occurring. overall this does apply to working class people and above as it has serious information and topics but also trending social stories and stuff about celebrities.

4) How would this audience access the text? E.g. where/when would they consume it? Using what device? the sun is an everyday thing which you can get physically from a shop along with reading it online at any time from their website /www.thesun.co.uk/

5) What values, ideologies and beliefs in society are reinforced or challenged in this media text? The gossip and social stories about celebrities are promoted more in this media text as people read it to see what scandals or to find out whats happening around them. theres a little bit of a lack of seriousness in this newspaper but it does cover important new which lets people who want different things to look at would pick this as it doesnt have one focus. There are lots of different topics such as immigration, celebrities, sports, education and the NHS e.t.c. The brexit is a popular thing people are angry and dissapointed about and this would target them as theyre showing it to be a bad mistake and will help people relate to it as it affects most peoples lifestyles
