  • Good opening -blur fades
  • Good use of filters - colour correction
  • Good editing
  • Range of shots (correctly named)

EBI:

  • Aspect ration - needs to be wide
  • Use only one font 
  • Avoid amuiture editing 
  • Jerky pan
  • Should have done a full minute
  • Use a DSLR to record for better quality
  • Add more of medium shots 
  • Colour change was a bit distorted.
  • slow down the shots
My Reflection: i should plan what im going to shoot so its a narrative. get a better quality camera. dont use silly editing skills. make sure the video is wide.

Capital: Representation question

Plan Kumar Family Rodger's Family Polish builders Old woman's house Traffic Warden  The show Capital is a show about a street that has begun to receive postcards from a mysterious sender, which say 'we want what you have',  the statement of whether Capital is a family drama rather than a crime drama is a very mixed opinion.  A definition of a crime Drama is a TV programme that focuses on a crime that is committed and is being researched to be solved. As for any genre, the crime drama features conventions such as Police tapes, Detectives, Victims and more. While Capital does focus on the crime of the postcards the show is much more focused on the aspects of all these people that live on Pepys Road and the whole aspect f the Postcards are dismissed as a marketing campaign as well as is put in the background of the first episode, while the family lives are focused on. 1) What positive points do the reviews pick out about  Capital ? Capital demostrates a lot of aspects of real diverse London life and the actors very well depict 'the loneliness of London life'. 2) What criticisms are made - either of the TV drama or the original novel? The characters were underdeveloped, with too much happening before we now the characters equilibrium enough to empathize with them. 3) How does the TV drama change the time period and location for the story in comparison to the original novel? They move location to suit the written characters more because of the gentrification of the original location.   4) In the Telegraph 'behind the scenes' article, what does the writer say about the London housing market?
